McKonly & Asbury Announces Several Promotions

Bruce Seagrist Promoted to Principal

CAMP HILL, PA – McKonly & Asbury is pleased to announce the promotion of Bruce Seagrist to a principal with the firm. Mr. Seagrist joined McKonly & Asbury in 2004 and made principal in 2006.

His professional experience and reputation are well-known. He is an excellent mentor to our entire team, and the partners and principals are glad to have his input in shaping the future of the firm." said Terry Harris, Managing Partner.

Mr. Seagrist has broad experience with the financial services industry, mergers and acquisitions, family-owned businesses, and publicly traded companies. His background provides an experienced perspective for specialized firm projects and client initiatives.

Most recently Mr. Seagrist served as the Chief Operating Officer and Treasurer for a nationally known healthcare consulting company. He was also an audit partner in the Harrisburg office of KPMG.

Mr. Seagrist is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a board member for the West Shore Chamber of Commerce, and the Cumberland County Economic Development Corporation.

Mr. Seagrist is a graduate of Elizabethtown College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.

Karen Spatz and Jean Zahurak are promoted to Supervisor

Karen L. Spatz, CPA
Ms. Spatz joined McKonly & Asbury in 2003 as a staff accountant. She specializes in providing audit services, with emphasis in the Real Estate and Consulting Areas of the firm.

Jean M. Zahurak, CPA
Ms. Zahurak joined McKonly & Asbury in 2005 as a Senior Accountant. She specializes in Tax with an emphasis in midsize businesses and individuals.

Aaron Boor, Carrie Pedersen, Michael Polcovich, and Samuel Stuart are promoted to Senior Accountant

Aaron R. Boor
Mr. Boor joined McKonly & Asbury in 2004 as a Staff Accountant. He focuses on service in the Nonprofit and Consulting areas of the firm.

Carrie A. Pedersen (CPA Examination Complete)
Ms. Pedersen joined McKonly & Asbury in 2004 as a Staff Accountant. She focuses on service in the Real Estate and Consulting areas of the firm.

Michael S. Polcovich (CPA Examination Complete)
Mr. Polcovich joined the firm in 2005 as a Staff Accountant. He is a member of the firm's Tax team and focuses on serving Corporate and International clients.

Samuel R. Stuart (CPA Examination Complete)
Mr. Stuart joined the firm in 2005 as a Staff Accountant. He is a member of the firm’s consulting team, focusing primarily on providing Sarbanes-Oxley services, as well as working on the firm’s audit engagements.
