John J. Swanick of SMART Elected to the Board of Trustees for Saint Joseph’s University

PHILADELPHIA, PA (September, 2006) – John J. Swanick, Philadelphia Office Managing Partner for SMART Accounting and Consulting, was recently appointed to the Board of Trustees for Saint Joseph’s University. John’s term will last for four years, effective September 2006 through May 2010, and is renewable. The Board meets four times throughout the academic year and is responsible for promoting and improving the University’s primary mission. Saint Joseph’s University has a history of academic excellence rooted in the Catholic and Jesuit tradition of service with and for others.
John, an alumnus of Saint Joseph’s, was recently promoted to SMART’s Office Managing Partner for the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area. With over 22 years of experience, John is now responsible for managing large client relationships and acting as a spokesperson for SMART in the greater business community. John’s countless achievements and consistent involvement in the Saint Joseph’s community has merited his appointment to the Board of Trustees.
