Partner Bob Romako to transition from firm after twenty-six career with McKonly & Asbury

CAMP HILL, PA – Effective September 30th, Bob Romako, a Partner with McKonly & Asbury, will be leaving the firm after twenty-six years of service. Mr. Romako began his career with M&A immediately after graduating from Shippensburg University, and rose to the rank of Partner, leading a long career of service to clients in the construction, association, and nonprofit fields.

Mr. Romako, a Certified Public Accountant, is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. He is a past President of the South Central Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Romako is a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors, the American Subcontractors Association, and the Construction Financial Management Association. He has had articles featured in Pennsylvania Contractor Magazine. He serves as a director of the West Shore YMCA, and is an active volunteer with Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Romako serves on the United Way of the Capital Region Focused Care Committee. He is also a member and past director of the Kiwanis Club of Harrisburg.

Mr. Romako has personally led the transition of his clients to other members of the McKonly & Asbury team. The firm wishes to thank him for his dedicated service to all of the firm's clients and the firm over these many years.

“After 26 years with the firm, I am making a change to pursue other business interests,” said Mr. Romako. “I value the business and personal relationship I have developed over the years, and will certainly miss working with so many good friends. But I am also looking forward to new challenges. I have complete confidence that the team here at McKonly & Asbury will continue to serve all of our clients in the same manner as we have in the past.”

There are no other personnel changes planned as a result of Mr. Romako’s decision. Clients affected by the transition have all been notified and introduced to members of their new service team. Mr. Romako has personally led this transition process to provide for a smooth transition.
