Reznick Group Expands in Chicago Market

BETHESDA, MD (November 4, 2005) – Reznick Group has announced it will take occupancy in the recently-renovated Concourse Office Plaza in Skokie, Ill. The firm will move into 33,157 square feet of space located at 4711 W. Golf Road on November 4, establishing a new Chicago-area office after outgrowing its previous space.

This allows Reznick Group to expand its presence in the Chicago market during a time of unprecedented growth. In addition to the expansion of the Chicago office, the firm recently announced the establishment of an office in Tysons Corner, Va., slated to open later this fall.

In January of this year, Reznick Group established a Midwest location by merging with CPA firm Friduss, Lukee, Schiff & Company (FLS). The fast-growing firm quickly outgrew the 10,000 square feet it occupied on W. Peterson Avenue since 1983. Reznick Group will have about 50 professionals when it takes occupancy of the space, but there is enough space to accommodate growth to support in excess of 150 employees until the lease expires in 2016.

Kenneth E. Baggett, Managing Principal of Reznick Group said, "We made the decision to move our Chicago office because we needed more space to accommodate our growth. This is currently our only Midwestern office and we wanted a physical space that would enable us to expand as we grow in number of employees and clients. We believe this arrangement will allow us to grow without disrupting our employees or client work."

Reznick Group Chicago office Principals-In-Charge Bruce Schiff and Jarvis Friduss will continue to manage the location. The new office will be a full-service facility providing audit, tax and business advisory services to clients in the Midwest and across the nation.

Convenience to the Chicago business community was one factor that prompted Reznick Group to choose the Concourse Office Plaza in Skokie. "It is important for us to provide our employees with a wonderful work space and meeting rooms," Friduss said. "There is also a concentration of businesses in the area and convenient access to the I-94 exchange. We are extremely pleased with the location and quality of our new space."
